Daniel Hibert's 1964 Malibu SS From France Daniel writes: Hello my name is Dan and i live in France. I'm a chevelle nut and the proud owner of a 64 SS coupe. It was built at the Baltimore plant and has the oiginal 283 ci bored .030 over with Hedman headers, Edelbrock 600cfm carb and intake ,hei ignition ,Flowmaster dual exhaust and a cam with 214/224 at 050 lift. It has a Powerglide but a TH350 is in process. It's a true SS 15837 with rare factory power windows and I know of 4 SS' with that option in France! It's now under a frame off restoration that will take probably 4 years. Hey, in France gas is $4 a gallon and we run lot of american cars but we like it! Thanks for a great site and have a nice day!
